Executives saw the grassroots of sustainability efforts taking hold throughout the business but lacked an integrated strategy that would support employee engagement and business imperatives. How might Blu Skye help the team co-create a coherent strategy and plan?

Assess
Performed a rapid carbon footprint analysis, stakeholder mapping exercise, and competitive benchmark study, to develop a shared understanding of current reality.
Align
Developed an actionable recommendation to (1) drive digital distribution (2) reconfigure approaches to production and set demolition (3) expand audiences through non-profit and merchandise tie-ins to films’ sustainability themes, all while increasing revenues and minimizing costs, carbon, water, waste, and toxicity.
Execute
Engaged the co-CEOs in multiple ways – with a dynamic field trip with a sustainability thought leader, through fact-based data, and multi-stakeholder working sessions. The result was a three-tiered strategy recommendation to be owned by leaders throughout the business.
Result
Sustained engagement that has led to an ongoing commitment to increase public awareness, lower the footprint of productions and operations, and provide opportunities for employees to act.
