Assessed the University’s strengths and capabilities to optimize the Center’s role in the academic sustainability ecosystem.

Align

Co-created a rapid vision, mission, strategy and three-year plan with Center leaders.

Execute

Supported plan execution for year one, including developing and testing an innovation methodology, designing and facilitating a food industry innovation summit, and fundraising.

Results

• Successful launch and recognition as one of the nation’s top university-based sustainability centers.

• Major food/agriculture Life Cycle Assessment will help meet anticipated demand for measuring the food industry’s environmental impact.

• Center co-directs a leading consumer product industry syndicate, The Sustainability Consortium focused on “making the everyday products we use better and more sustainable.”
